The Date...

Name a bachelor who is clueless about his perfect girl or dream girl, hard to find one and if any... don’t want to comment about them, they are simply not one of us...

Lot of my friends have a common problem; Boys:“meree wali humesha bolti hai- I don’t understand her feelings.” Girls: “Kya yaar oo kafi badal gaya hai, bilkul v caring nahi raha.” Before I start my comments/thoughts/ideas on the above statements from my friends, let me make one thing clear, the content here are not limited to me, the contribution credit goes to all my friends.

Let me be honest here, all the girls are right... we don’t understand them and the reason is very simple, we always try to understand them.  Let’s make it simple, please follow the link and read the story carefully, my fellow bachelors this has been the most important lesson in my life and it always works, hope this works for you as well... So if you are done with the story lets come to the moral; don’t do the thinking leave it to them, the best way to understand them.... let’s not understand them at all, simply ask them what they want, what you need to do. And every girl is a little Princess deep inside & has a fairy tale of her own. It’s never so tough to be the Prince Charming, even they have brains they won’t ask you to come riding a horse. Even they are aware no one can get the moon for them but they want us to try, TRY HARD...

The Date... I will call it a Budget Bachelor Date(we are always short of cash), let’s try to make it as close to a fairytale as possible. And all girls know how we are, but still try to see us in different state or what we are not or say out of our mind. It just makes them feel a winner, where in we have lost what we take pride in. What’s wrong in it? Let them be a winner, let them feel like a princess, after all they are..........

What we need for a Budget Bachelor Date?

• Must

o    Something good to drink*

o    Good food*

* which looks good & with a fascinating name would even do

• Must Must

o    Ambience

o    Surprise(s)

Lets start with the Must Must Ambience, The Budget Fairytale Ambience; 

• The Clean Bachelor- I know it’s a pleonastic statement, but let’s shave our mane for them.

• The Place- what can be better than our den/pad. They don’t care if it’s the best coffee shop or a 5-Star or our pad. They want you to be different, every guy goes for Coffee Shop or an expensive restaurant. For them our pad is as good as the most expensive roof top restaurant in town. You don’t believe me? better ask them, You will get the answer...  my fellow bachelors clean your pad/den and don’t forget to remove all the chemical markings, no wrong signals from the beginning, PATIENCE is the word for the day. Most important don’t forget to clean the ceiling fan.(Why?? Don’t forget the word of the day...)

• Candles- fancy candles?? no need, once lit they all look same.

• Music- try the 70s, the Bollywood romantic 70s, they always spell the magic.

• Ideas- we have plenty of them, think something creative. Warning: don’t overdo, you don’t want the CHEPP impression or impressing impression.

Now for the Surprise(s), The Budget Surprise(s);

• Flowers- girls never count the flowers in the bouquet, the count is limited to how many times you gave them flowers, so make sure you get a bunch of them, place them all over your pad, hidden, pick one & surprise them till the end.

• Chocolates- We all know they all love chocolates and they are showered with it all the time by our competition. Make a difference, go ahead and tell her she is showered with chocolates all the time but you will seriously get her a chocolate rain(use the me tumhare liye chand taron ko jameen pe la sakta hun Style voice).  Remember the ceiling fan, yessss... place chocolates on the fan blades and when she enters switch it on and see the magic. Once again, no need of expensive chocolates, cadburys eclairs fit the best here.

Now time for the Must;

Drinks- Masala Cold Drink

What we need?

500 ml Non Alcoholic Cold Drink**

3/4 tsp Jeera Powder

1/2 tsp Black Salt

1/2 tsp Pepper Powder

2 tsp Lemon juice

Optional- Mint Leaves

What to do?

Mix all ingredients together (except the cold drink) in a glass. Add mint leaves, add the cold drink little by little until the glass is full, you can mix two different cold drinks(my personal favorite is Coke & Fenta)

**You dont need alcoholic drink to set her high. Use your charm.

Good Food- Cheese, Cherry & Pineapple on Cocktail Stick & Hedgehog Sausages(Fancy Name)

What we need?

Processed Cheese Cubes
Pitted Cherries
Pineapple cut into cubes

Sausages / Boiled Potatoes / Paneer

Salted Butter

Pepper Powder
Cocktail Sick or Toothpicks

Optional- Crushed Ice or Oranges to Serve

What to do?

Cheese, Cherry & Pineapple on Cocktail Stick

Chop pineapple into cubes. Cut cheese cubes into 4 equal pieces. On each toothpick, first insert the cherry, followed by the cheese cube and finally the pineapple. Keep chilled until needed.

Hedgehog Sausages/Potatoes

Cut sausages into 3 or 4 pieces, (my veggie freinds)cut the potatoes / paneer into square.  Heat a frying pan with salted butter for 30secs. Fry the sausages/potatoes till golden brown. Drain everything on a paper towel or news paper, add salt (I don’t prefer salt as we have used salted butter) & plenty of pepper (and if any leftover Pizza Seasoning). On each toothpick, insert the sausages/potatoes.

How to Serve?(Fancy Look)

Option 1- Serve the Cheese, Cherry & Pineapple on Cocktail Stick on a bed of crushed ice. (only Cheese, Cherry & Pineapple on Cocktail Stick, don’t try with sausages or potatoes)

Option 2- Cut half the orange and insert the toothpick into it.(you can try this for both Cheese, Cherry & Pineapple and Hedgehog Sausages) serve with tomato ketchup. It is called a Hedgehog Sausages because the cocktail sticks resemble the spines on a hedgehog. I call the combination Fire & Ice or Hot & Sweet (you need to sound fancy all time).

Am sure apart from the above we all will have plenty of blush, showered with surprise kisses, the mesmerizing smile & lot more.

Filmmmyyyy.....??? yes it is...!!! and it has to be filmy, aint we all filmy?? They go with Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty and for us its Pamela Anderson & Jenna Jameson. Lets go for a perfect Budget Bachelor Date and if she is the perfect girl, she would fall in love with you and if she already is, she will fall in love again, again, again... & am hopeful they would do anything anything anything for us.... filmy style...!!!
